Spring is trying to break through. This "Christmas Rose" or Helleborus atrorubens is now blooming as well as Skunk Cabbage. I also found a crocus blooming and 6 other flowers that have been blooming, off and on, during the late winter. Brevipetala Witchhazel, Ruby Glow Witch Hazel, Snowdrops, Common Chickweed, Purple Dead Nettle & Hairy Bitercress.

Spring Flowers
Spring is trying to break through. This "Christmas Rose" or Helleborus atrorubens is now blooming as well as Skunk Cabbage. I also found a crocus blooming and 6 other flowers that have been blooming, off and on, during the late winter. I think everybody but me has something blooming! The Christmas Rose is beautiful. I planted a couple last year and I'm anxious to see if they survived.
